Rachel White
Rachel White practices exclusively in the area of family law,
with an emphasis on contested court proceedings and agreements.
Rachel guides and supports her clients through the separation
process with the aim of resolving the terms of their separation
efficiently and effectively to achieve their best outcome. At
the outset, she helps clients get a clear understanding of their
rights, obligations and dispute resolution options. In moving
forward, she will address matters that require immediate attention,
provide the support to facilitate effective communication and
negotiation, and help clients restore control over their lives.
She has also had experience in advising clients on matters relating
to the new same sex marriage laws in Ontario.
Rachel regularly appears in court on behalf of her clients.
In the course of her practice, Rachel advises clients in many
aspects of Family law including adoption, access and support
cases, child protection matters, custody, division of property,
marriage contracts, separation agreements, restraining orders,
variation and enforcement and same sex marriage.
Consistent with the approach taken by all of the family law
lawyers at Simmons da Silva & Sinton LLP, Rachel’s attention
and compassion reflect an understanding of the real personal
impact of the separation and divorce process on everyone involved,
especially the children.
